Junior Jets Cross Country!

After having to postpone it on Tuesday we had our JJ Cross Country on Thursday 15th! And it was great! There was a bit of wind but other than that we had perfect conditions for running! Well done to Room Two who all put an amazing effort in! We had some good placings too!

And on top of that we had a lot of very close 4th's and 5th's! What a wonderful day we had!

Snow at School!!!

We have been very excited today to see all the snow! We went outside and looked at all the snow then we wrote some great snow stories!

Things we are up to...

Welcome back to Term Three! In Room Two we are very excited about gymnastics and our "Take Risks" unit! We will be 'taking a risk' by planting some seeds this week and helping them to grow! We are also loving our new sandpit! We have had so much fun creating and building in it! Keep a look out for photos and updates about what we are up to!

Junior Jets Camp 2011

We had so much fun on camp! We did all sorts of activities like games, art, stories and singing. Then we had a BBQ tea! We started at 1.30pm and we finished at 7pm! It was such a long day! But it was great!

The Day the Digger Came...

Guess what?? We are getting some new things in our playground! Today we had builders in with diggers and machines. We went out as a class to have a look at what they were doing. They dug up a hole in our playground! It is huge. We can't wait to see what will arrive to go in to it!

Discovery Time Friday 25th Feb

We had a great time during our discovery time today. We had the kitchen things out, crafts, chalk drawing, blocks, music and more! Check out our photos!

Junior Jets Camp!
Don't forget that Junior Jets Camp is coming up next week (week 5) on Friday the 4th March. We need permission slips in and $3. It's going to be an awesome day and evening!

So far this term...

Wow! It's Week Four already! Time seems to be flying by! So far Room 2 have had two weeks of swimming which went really well! We all learnt a lot and had a great time! Now we are back in to our regular programme because swimming has finished. It's all really exciting and we are doing really well at getting in to our routines for Reading, Writing and Maths. Our focus at the moment is "Contribution". We all contributed to our camp discussion and brainstorm which is now up on our wall. Make sure you have a look next time you are in! We have some great ideas. Well thats all for now but keep checking to see what we are up too.
